Reports across the state indicate polling locations were swamped with voters this morning - some lines began forming as early as 4:00 a.m.
Hampton and Newport News, located in the southeast corner of the state, are reporting extremely heavy turnout, which is great news for Obama in this part of the state. Reports from television stations are stating that even though the lines are long, they are at least moving, with few problems reported.
Long lines are reported across central Virginia - some polling locations in the suburbs of Richmond, Henrico and Chesterfield, had anywhere from 700 to 1000 people in line, which were verified by reporters. Depending on the precinct, this could be good or bad news for Obama.
Extremely long lines were reported in Petersburg as well, which is good news for Obama as this city is majority AA.
