The Only One "Suffering From a Mental Health Episode" at Arlington National Cemetery Was Trump

The normalization of Trump by the media has metastasized so far that he can even get away with dishonoring our military dead by defaming our war dead. Yes, the mainstream media is covering the story, but they are letting him not be accountable for capitalizing on his stunt as he posts the campaign commercial he sought, while giving his beyond inappropriate thumbs up, on social media. The egregious impropriety will be out of the news by the weekend.

Although the Army today confirmed that the Trump campaign was warned not to photograph or film in the sacred Section 60 of Arlington Cemetery, the Trump campaign used bullying and lies to violently intimidate and shove a female cemetery employee who was trying to enforce the sanctity of the hallowed ground. The Trump campaign ignored her and bulldozed their way through, knocking the employee aside in the process.

Presidential draft dodger and perennial degrader of soldiers who have lost their lives for America is a hypocrite to begin with, calling the war dead “suckers and losers.” But an August 29 CNN article made it clear, “US Army rebukes Trump campaign for incident at Arlington National Cemetery”:

The US Army issued a stark rebuke of former President Donald Trump’s presidential campaign over the incident on Monday at Arlington National Cemetery, saying in a statement on Thursday that participants in the ceremony “were made aware of federal laws” regarding political activity at the cemetery, and “abruptly pushed aside” an employee of the cemetery.

“Participants in the August 26th ceremony and the subsequent Section 60 visit were made aware of federal laws, Army regulations and DoD policies, which clearly prohibit political activities on cemetery grounds. An ANC employee who attempted to ensure adherence to these rules was abruptly pushed aside,” the Army spokesperson said in the statement on Thursday. Section 60 is an area in the cemetery largely reserved for the graves of those who served in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Trump’s spokesperson Steven Cheung claimed that the cemetery employee who tried to enforce the rules was “suffering from a mental health episode.” The only person “suffering from a mental health episode” at Arlington National Cemetery was Trump.

Most of the Trump campaign is based on projection, in this case a presidential candidate whose Daddy got him to successfully dodge the draft by having a podiatrist who owed him a favor dishonestly claim that Trump had bone spurs in his foot. It is appalling that Trump would get away with “honoring” dead veterans when he is a coward and disparages even the Gold Star Families.

Trump’s campaign even used a tombstone as a side table.

Trump campaign adviser Chris Civita, who played a key role in “swiftboating” war hero John Kerry, called the woman trying to honor the buried soldiers “a despicable person,” while Trump was the most despicable person there.

J.D. Vance, who wrote in “Hillbilly Elegy” "that he was lucky to escape fighting” in Iraq said Kamala Harris could go “to Hell” in order to push back on the clamor of criticism surrounding Trump’s strongman style campaigning.

Meanwhile, Elon Musk unforgivably censored the NPR story that exposed the Trump campaign hijacking of the solemn protocol at Arlington National Cemetery.
